Dr. Randy Schulman M.S., O.D., FCOVD
Behavorial Optometrist

Dr. Schulman graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.  She graduated with her Doctor in Optometry and Masters in Vision Science degrees from the State University of New York, State College of Optometry.  She received her Fellowship in the College of Optometrists for Vision Development and is an Associate member of the Optometric Extension Program.  She has lectured extensively on such topics as vision in the classroom, vision and aging, visual difficulties in the developmentally delayed, and lectured and published on vision and autism.  She specializes in vision therapy, pediatrics, learning disabilities and preventative and alternative vision care for all ages. Her staff of vision therapists have over 30 years of combined experience, providing individualized in-office therapy.

Dr_Collier

Dr. Juanita Collier, MS OD
Behavioral Optometrist

Dr. Collier earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the University of Pennsylvania.  She then graduated from the State University of New York, State College of Optometry with her Doctor degree in Optometry.  While on the Dean’s List, she conducted research on Computer Vision Syndrome and received her Masters degree in Vision Science.  She is licensed in treating and diagnosing ocular disease and is proficient in the latest technologies for ocular disease management.  She has also completed an additional Pediatric and Vision Therapy externship with an emphasis on Visual Perception at the University Optometric Center in New York City.  She specializes in pediatrics, vision-related learning difficulties, corneal refractive therapy and myopia control, and primary vision care for patients of all ages.

April Banores
Certified Vision Therapist

April Banores graduated Newbury College with an Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy and is a certified Respiratory Therapist and certified EMT with the Town of Westport. April is a certified vision therapist, having completed all requirements through The College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD).  She has an extensive background working predominately with children and has been a Vision Therapist with Dr. Shulman for over 10 years. Her expertise ranges from children with developmental delays and learning disabilities, to recovering stroke patients, to the elderly suffering from age related vision difficulties.

   

Debra Murray
Certified Vision Therapist

Debra Murray earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and a minor in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts/Amherst.  She is a certified vision therapist, having completed all requirements through The College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD).  Deb has worked for Dr. Schulman for over 5 years, working with special needs children including those with autism and developmental delays.  She has worked with recovering stroke patients, and seniors with age related vision difficulties.  Her previous work experience includes working with special needs populations ranging from school age children to seniors  and as a  pre-school teacher, working with ages 18 months to 4 years.

   

Terri R. Epstein, OTR/L
Occupational Therapist

Terri Epstein has over 16 years of experience in Occupational Therapy with 4 years of neonatal intensive care experience and has also worked in the school setting. She is certified in administering and interpreting the SIPT-Sensory Intergration and Praxis Tests, and is trained in the Therapeutic Listening ProgramTM and Handwriting Without TearsTM. Terri also earned a degree in Special Education and has the honorary title of Clinical Associate from Boston University for educating OT students. Terri was a clinical specialist in Pediatrics at Norwalk Hospital prior to her private practice.
